with light and love

. . . I hope.

So here she is, my new companion.  Oh, I know what you are thinking — isn’t she a bit old and heavy?  isn’t there a piece of trim broken at the top left?   does she even have all her parts?  can she handle wool?

If you remember my Odd Number of Heads post, then you know the sewing machine that I had used to make hundreds of dolls was not mine and its owner was reclaiming her machine.   Well this old girl was gathering dust at my parent’s house so I claimed it and took her home.  I took her for a check-up at A-1 Sewing and now she runs just fine.  We will explore the fancy stitch options together slowly, but for now we are great on straight and zigzag.  YAY!
